The John Hemmings Cancer Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation organized for charitable, educational, and research purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 510(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code), or the corresponding section of any future Federal Tax Code.

The specific and primary purposes for which the corporation is formed are to identify, raise funds for, and donate to, organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Code Section 501(c)(3) or the corresponding section of any future Federal Tax Code (collectively “Exempt Organizations”) involved in the research, treatment and cure of cancer or other diseases, as well as Exempt Organizations assisting with end of life palliative care, and to also provide quality of life care assistance to cancer patients in Pinal County, Arizona, who do not have sufficient available funds of their own for that purpose and who are also not able to obtain governmental assistance for such purposes.
